A Memorable Mini Reunion in Singapore
More than 120 investors and members of the Markel Group family from across the Asia Pacific region gathered in Singapore for a Mini Reunion. This third Mini Reunion followed similar gatherings in Munich and London during 2022-23. With its mix of modern architecture and rich cultural heritage, Singapore provided a perfect backdrop for this growing Markel Group tradition.
Guests arrived at the iconic Marina Bay Sands and mingled in small groups. A highlight was a Fireside Chat with Tom Gayner, CEO of Markel Group, and Simon Wilson, President of Markel International, where they discussed business, life, the Markel Group, food, and more. The gathering concluded with a warm, shared lunch featuring delicious local cuisine.
Author Luca Dellana attended and shared copies of his book, "Ergodicity." Throughout the afternoon, guests engaged in lively Q&A sessions and conversations during and after lunch. Thank you to everyone who attended. It was a pleasure visiting members of the Markel Group community their backyard.
