What is the Welcome Dinner?
An opportunity to build and strengthen relationships with leading global investors, founders, authors, business leaders, and friends of Markel Group.
What is the Markel Group Reunion?
This event is part of our annual Reunion. Some companies have a shareholder meeting every year, we have a two-day reunion. It’s an opportunity for two thousand shareholders, associates, and friends of Markel Group to gather in Richmond, Virginia to connect, engage, learn and have fun.
Why do we host this event?
If we’ve learned anything in the last 94 years, it’s that there is nothing more valuable to a business or a person than deep and lasting relationships. This is an opportunity to build and strengthen relationships with some of the people in our family.
What is the event format?
There will be a cocktail reception to be followed by a family-style dinner with assigned tables.
Where is the Welcome Dinner?
The award-winning Heilman Dining Center on the campus of the University of Richmond. Parking will be available at the Jepson Alumni Center at 442 Westhampton Way, Richmond, VA 23173.
