What is a Mini Reunion?

Spending time with our existing and potential long-term partners is a treat. We also believe that, along with inviting you to our home in Richmond every May for the Reunion, it is essential to visit yours. We like to call these “Home and Home” matches. You visit ours; we visit yours.

With this premise in mind, we launched our “Mini Reunion” series.

These events are small gatherings of partners that typically center around a fireside chat with our CEO, Tom Gayner, followed by a meal together.

The etymology of “company” is the words for “with” and “bread.” We believe sharing a meal helps build lasting relationships and businesses.

Why should I attend?

This is a perfect opportunity to get together with thoughtful, like-minded investors, Markel Group partners, and to interact with Tom Gayner, CEO of Markel Group, in an intimate, conversational setting.
